Whitney Houston, aged 48, was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in February. According to The New York Times, she said that there have been a lot of rumors and lies about Whitney Houston and she wants to write an honest book that would tell about all the good and bad times in her daughter’s life.
She also said that she would be revealing the detailed aspects of the life of the late singer, considering that a lot of lies are being told about her.
In regard to the book, Cissy Houston has been in talks with various publishers these days.
According to the sources, she could reach a seven-figure deal depending upon the amount of content she would reveal about the drug issues of Whitney Houston and her marriage with Bobby Brown. Other than that, Cissy and other relatives of Whitney also intent to encase the body of the late singer in concrete to stop people from stealing this £500,000 worth of jewellery the late singer was buried with.
The jewellery items that were buried along with the dead body include a diamond brooch and earrings. The late singer was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey next to the body of her father, John Russell Houston Jr., who died in 2003. Encasing the body in concrete seems to be the only viable option of safety and is considered to be the best option by an expert at Hollywood Forever.
The remains of various other celebrities have also been buried in Hollywood Forever. According to the expert, this move would be sensible and would make robbery virtually impossible, since it would take hours to get through the concrete even with a pneumatic drill. So far the details about the book have not been revealed since Cissy is still in talk with the publishers.
