Kate Winslet Novel: Coming Soon

Oscar-winning Hollywoodactress Kate Winslet has decided to become an author too. With the help of co-starts and famous friends, her debut book with the name of The Golden Hat has been prepared, which mostly consists of self-taken photographs of the co-stars.

These stars include George Clooney, Leonardo Di Caprio and Penelope Cruz.

The book basically aims at raising awareness about autism and tackles with the social problems associated with it. There is little written material by Kate Winslet herself and the book mostly consists of the portraits of famous starts and their one-line captions.

The main reason behind this book is Winslet’s personal experiences during her work on a 2009 documentary.

This documentary was named A Mother’s Courage and focused on the life of an autist boy named Kali Dagmar who had a severe form of non-verbal autism.

The book was published last week and the name of the book was taken from a poem that was written by Kali. Kate’s favorite trilby hate has an important role in raising awareness through this book since it has been used in the pictures.

The concept of this hat has also been taken from a peon by Kali in which a magical hat enables him to speak when he wears it.

This is first writing endeavor of Kate Winslet who is now 36. In the book, along with the self-portraits of the stars, there are also their responses to the question that “If you couldn’t speak but this hat enabled you to do so, what would you like to say?” Some pretty interesting one-liners were stated along with the portraits.

For example, George Clooney said that he “is sorry about Batman and Robin”, which was his 1997 film and was voted by Empire magazine as the worst film ever. Angelina Jolie, wearing the trilby hat, said that her first words would be “eat vegetables”.
